Has anyone bought the Superstar Ripple (or the Pro Shells for that matter) and if so, how do they fit and feel?

Do they fit like regular 80s, are they comfy?

Are they extra padded for winter warmth?

They look heavy because of the extra sole and they have that rubber/plastic thingey on the tongue, but other than that I would think they were pretty much the same.

Any help/info appreciated thumbleft

when they hit the outlets i could be tempted... wondering if you can detatch that y-3 sprint style sole on them, leaving the standard sole? the deep red'ish ones would look good with the standard sole
