Ok, so there's a pair of 35ths on the Bay that I really want, however, looking at the photos the laces are not tightly packed as 35ths are meant to be, but loose like the fake photos show.
The guy selling them has given me this reply after I pointed him in the direction of the Spot Fake Adidas website
"Hi, I have never sold, bought & never would sell fakes, I will look into this but if they are, I bought them from the Adidas shop at the designer outlet in York that is owned & run by Adidas selling off past season items, very sorry if you feel they are, please retract your bid if not happy, you can do this on eBay, I have 100% feedback & dont intend to loose any feedback from selling fakes"
I really want these particular 35ths but obviously not fakes, but the guy seems genuine. I just wanna check with you guys that all laces in the 35th issues were indeed tightly packed?
cheers

unfortunately i can only get the pics by pointing you in the direction of the live auction. But if they should always be tightly packed then I'm afraid these must be fakes. Just thought I'd double check with you experts in case I was missing anything.
Already been stung in the past with Ian Browns and Lee Quinones so it's not gonna happen again.
The geezer must be lying through his teeth then as he is telling me he got them from the Adidas Outlet at McArthur Glen in York (is it even likely that any 5000 world release would end up in an outlet!).
Cheers GeeBee

Ask him if he's unpacked the laces. I've done it, just undone them carefully and then back up and they're then loose no matter how careful you are.

Unlikely they'd make it to an outlet.

If they are the UK10 missys then he's been trying to get rid of them for years they are fake and as sweet_kicks said would not have come from an outlet.
With God's help I'll conquer this terrible affliction.

Agreed, even if one unpacks them, they're a bitch to get it packed tight to the way it was...that's why it's so nice to see em packed...any other tell tale signs on these I.e. The Ids, box, tagging etc? pic most certainly would help, and yeah highly unlikely these would've hit outlets...100% feedback and politeness via email don't mean shite....

Also something i try to keep in mind or did when i chased 35ths (many moons ago now)....Alot of people where mis-sold fake 35ths via the bay for years and probably a high percentage of them don't even know there fake..Shit even now people still buy them and most probably think there the real deal..Unless they've joined here or are into the whole trainer thing.
I think most of us bought fakes before we joined ssdb..so it is possible he might not know there fakes like we didn't before we were schooled by ssdb.
Steal the pics off ebay or send one of the elders the ebay link fvia Pm for them to have a look
It's not the size of the feet!!it's the amount of quality on em
