I'm using iPhone 4 and 'm waiting to get 4S (don't know why though). Most of our office is using Galaxy S2 and they seem to like it. BTW all you SGS2 owners have you used the Social Hub thingy? Would you like to share your experiences?

Thanks everyone for your weigh in! You lot are the funniest LOL! Without counting, its probably a split re: those for or against the S2 or Iphone 4S. Yeah I read the specs for both and both have merits good things. Also was told about some new ones coming out this week from Samsung/Google i.e. Quad, new Android OS called Ice Cream Sandwich (who came up with these stupid names), and the holiday season is around the corner, so I may wait another month or two, then decide.
The only thing that caught my attention for the iPhone was the Siri app (which is no good in Canada anyhow, except for the actual phone items i.e. reminders, voice to text, scheduler etc - no good for maps, restaurant recc's, etc LOL), and iCloud...everything else I could get elsewhere...really Siri is fun but a novelty act and tireseome after a bit, perhaps...??
What I liked about the S2 was the customization and open OS...BUT, was better seeing it on a tablet and not a 4' screen...
I did try em both out and realized a liked 1-2 things about each....fcuk, I had an easier time deciding on my car than a damn phone...

iPhone batteries arent great tbh, but i think most people forget what they do on smart phones now, its not just calls/texts anymore with all the music/app playing/downloading people do its only natural its going to use up more battery life

I've just upgraded from 3gs to 4s and it's superb, the camera and the screen are excellent, Siri is fun but it doesn't really work that great in the UK for finding stuff, it is cool for texting the wife though.
Life moves pretty fast, if you don't stop and look around once in while you could miss it.

I'd never buy another Samsung anything so assuming the Post Office heist goes well at the weekend, I'll be getting a 4S.

Google and Samsung just announced their new phone that should ship in November. Not much different than SGS2 though.

Yeah the Galaxy Nexus on IceCream OS....I felt the same way as you P re: anything Samsung, but gotta hand it to them the past few years...their game is up and on par with the big boys...hell, the Apple screens are made by Samsung - ironic it seems...
The Samsung phones all 'feel' cheap/plasticky' though....
Agree with you AMac re: I'm sure its fun to make calls with Siri - not to my wife though LOL....

Hey haven't been to the site in a long time! But dropped in to see what's up, and had to chime in on this one! I'd def say SGS2 all the way, but I do prefer Android these days. If your going by specs, it has a better processor and better screen (color saturation, not resolution or pixel density compared to a 4S). And another big factor for me is not dealing with iTunes, god how I hate that program. Either way I think it comes down to preference, at the end of the day you'll probably be happy with either one, have fun picking which way to go!

Good to see you too man, how's the SS hunting been going? Yeah I'm prob going to hold off a bit myself to see the Nexus Galaxy, and for better prices. My Droid X2 is working well enough for now.

I just got my 4S yesterday. Nothing new to my iPhone 4 but wanted to change 'cause I still got €400 of my old one. And this new one came with 64GB memory. Tried to fill it yesterday but failed miserably. I guess that could go to WAHOOO thread
