There is "Display options" in the bottom right corner of the search window. Choose "posts" and the results should be more like you want. Default here is just "threads".

I rarely go out on weekends these days unless there's some absolutely spectacular parties worth going somewhere which won't make me want to cut my wrists after the first 30mins in there. Average weekend nights at the local clubs suck here more than I can handle. Firstly, I hate pretty much all of the top40 music and modern days' bling bling hip hop and r'n'b they play here all the time and secondly, i hate the superficial airheads in most clubs here too so i rather stay home, maybe invite a few friends over or occasionally go to some house parties and get totally wasted.
Most of my closest friends do share my idealism so if we do end up going out to clubs instead of going to the nearest pub for countless pints and shots + games of pool, we need to be very very out of our minds -wasted.
Haha @Lorrie: actually I'm home, alone, drinking and occasionally posting but mainly inventoring my music collection. Accompanied only by 2 felines.

Me and the wife rarely go out unless its for a meal.
I sometimes think that I'm missing out then I watch 'Street Wars' on sky3 and then realise its far safer to be at home. Before we're 40 me and the wife said we'll go to Ibeefa and do a club or two.
Then have a nice cup of tea and a sit down.
