Hi there

I'm a new boy, living in Scotland, and my wife found this site as part of her ongoing efforts to satisfy my Superstar cravings! Have been buying SSs for a few years now, after my first plain old white and black pair (still got them but they're showing their age). Since then I've picked them up in all sorts of places, including a handy adidas outlet store near me! I'll take a photo or two of the collection this weekend which comprises of adicolors, lux, grune and standard, and get them posted. I also have a pair of Berlin Cities range which I think might be fake. Can anyone tell me anything specific to look for? Is the number of crosses on the rubber shelltoe itself standard or can it vary? Anyhoo, looking forward to chatting with you all and lusting over your collections. Anyone tried the miadidas machines in some of the original stores, like the one in Liverpool? I had to be dragged away..........

Have a look at a few of the fake guides on here, should give you an idea if you've been unlucky. Has happened to a lot of us over the years, ebay is full of fakes unfortunately. And there's plenty of dodgy online shops too.

Some folk have sampled miadidas, again there's a thread somewhere with pics.

The crosses are reasonably standard but differ between larger and smaller sizes.
