Finally got round to having another go at fixing the broken boot lock on the polo. Fitted the puzzle together piece by piece and finally fixed it 100%. Amazed that there was a mechanical problem with it and I actually fixed it. Can finally send off my man card application.

Also sorted the lights out - no more getting pulled over by the 5-0

Nice! Feels good to fix broken stuff doesn't it? Nearly as good as the feeling of breaking something!

Today I am enjoying a rare day off, so I have had a lie in, which unfortunately was ruined by a balling child next door... Mad
So I went downstairs to make some toast, only to find out the bread I put out to thaw yesterday has already gone mouldyConfused(WTF?)
So I used the last of the eggs to make a tasty omletteVery Happy
And now I'm just chilling at the computer, playing some tunes and trawling ebay for things I can't afford to buy...

Yes it does Samo!
Fixing things is so fun especially when you have no idea of what to do so you just sort of have to compromise or let your ingenuity shine.
Like last week, i fixed the garage door... i has a motor installed to make it become a convenient lazy man's garage. The door came out of it's rails so we put it back in to find that the setting became all effed up. Like it would only open half way. then after a few hours with a manual that just didn't seem to make the correct predictions at the start i finally got it fixed and sprayed the rails with some lube to make sure those door goes down smoothly and stay in the rails.

And lol at your final statement... Oh i do that oh so often... A lot of the times i find really cheap stuff but i just still don't have the money to buy it...
you guys never see me post anything new because i actually haven't bought a new pair of supes in a very long time. there's a list i'd like to get my hands on after my exams are over though Very Happy

What up shelltoe goombahs! I survived my angioplasty and back in one piece, albeit with not one, but two titanium stents in me...thankfully no new blockages - the 'old' one (if you can call 8 months ago old) got crushed a bit, so they 'reopened' it and placed the new stent around it...back on my cocktail of drugs for a little while again, but at least I'm alive...now all I gotta do is reduce my stress (ha!), and continue on with my new regimen i.e. changing my exercise routine, trying to eat healthier, yada yada...thx to all wishing me a safe return Wink I did in fact wear soups, but not for the nasty lookin nurses who looked after me and shaved my private regions and poked my....wore my 'beaters' - Japan Olympics from '08...also to pass the time, I was reading 'Sneaker Wars'...the story based on the Dassler brothers - always knew quite a bit on this story, but this opened up my eyes a whole lot! Great to be back...
