It is Mrs FC's car. There was also a few financial reasons as well.

The Cooper S is certainly quick but the insurance for that (and the GTI) is nearly four figures for Mrs FC so for now its the Cooper.

Sliding on my work shoes because of all the snow. Holland is covered in snow and it's one big chaos over here. Recordbreaking trafficjams. Trucks sliding off the road. Trains hitting trucks, Car-accidents, no buses driving, trains being delayed. Can you fuckin' imagine that???? You scandinavian guys probably not.

But then it is true that I've absolutely judged the car by people I've met who drive them, who have, with one exception (plus present company excepted fc), been bell-ends.

Original minis are fantastic little machines and one of the most fun (cheap) cars you can own. I've yet to get behind the wheel of one of the new ones but from what I've read they continue that tradition, apart from the cheap bit.
