tru that Lorre, you have the right to do what ever you want with a sneak that you have purchased.
but it still makes my blood boil when someone buys up the entire stock just to sell them on. they aint in it for the love its for the cash... its trainer touting. but like you say, all the time there's rich kids happy to throw their cash in their direction there's nothing i can do about it.

Speaking of Touting. LFC are coming out to play my adopted Aussie team, Melbourne Victory in july. I had no intention of going as all the "big" freindlies that have taken place (Juve, Boca Jnrs, Fulham..the exception being Celtic) have been fuckin awful in terms of atmosphere and football in light of the squads that have been sent over. Promises of Riqueleme, Palermo etc never materialised. The other reason for not wanting to attend is that the match is to take place at the MCG, which from a spectating POV is an absolute joke due to the size of a football pitch on a big old cricket oval.
Anyhow, tickets went on sale to Season ticket holders (of which i am one) at 9am Thurs morn. The active tickets sold out in 8 mins and season ticket holders did not get preferential status, the touts were able to buy up in lots of 10 at a go. Consequently, the cunts are now selling them at $100 and upwards for $25 tickets.
MV get a token amount of cash for playing LFC. The promoter and LFC are making a killing on this one. All the more reason to hate the fuckers.
60.000 tickets sold on the 1st day. LFC are not getting any thing from me (thank fuck).

Yeah totally mate, its the down side to a free market. It doesn't even bother me if someone gets an extra pair to sell on to raise funds for their sneaker obsession. Just frustrates me when someone makes a buisness out of being an unnecessary middle man (is that middle person nowadays?) either with sneaks, gig tickets or football matchs/ sporting events etc etc. its a service we could do without that results in alot of people having to pay extra
But like you say that's the free market. Just having a moan about it. Lol

Were these ZXs only sold in a few shops, I take it?
And said shops didn't have a 1 pair per person policy in place?
Sorry Lorre but people who buy up any, let alone loads, of limited shoes solely with the intention of moving them on for a profit are cunts, plain and simple!
I've properly chewed people out about it in queues before and even managed to persuade some of them to leave..........
Would happily give some of them lumps if they really pissed me off!

The reselling sucks. I have waited in line at the Originals store in SOHO for hours when you are told it is 1 pair per person and after twenty people go in they tell you they are sold out and shut the door on you. And the worst part is you have people coming out of the store asking for double the retail price in the street because they were never going to wear them anyway. I would be happy with a "Wear the shoes out of the store" policy.

No doubt they will release them again sometime anyway.

its a mad situation, but looking at ebay it seems like no one that queued to get the latest adidas x babe x undefeated actually wants to wear them. with such a limited / hyped release i can see that people see it as a way of making fast money.. couple hundred quid just for standing in line. and if your rich it saves you waiting about.
it just doesn't sit well with me..
re; the box fresh bargain thing.. i don't see anything wrong with being a collector and selling off sneaks that you no longer wear or ones that you have saved boxfresh and now have to sell for what ever reason (usually a massive bill or you have to many suede sneaks and not enough sunshine) for a profit if the demand is there, but the immediate reselling thing im not down with.
but what ever really..... other than a 1 pair per customer policy it will just carry on, and at the end of the day the majority of sneaker shops will sell as many as they can to who ever they can. is it really their job to ensure hat everyone gets a fair crack at getting limited releases? maybe adidas should just release better General release sneaks or do consortium in larger numbers. maybe i should get a better job so i can pay well over the odds and jump the queue on limited releases. .. maybe i should get some sleep so i can get up early and enjoy tomorrows heat wave..

lol... that present is well pants.
we have a laugh every year at the presents my house mate gets, its like his family have never met him or challenged them selves to find the shittest gift possible at a market.
like you say, i dont even matter if you cant get something quality. just a card with a thoughtfull message.
at xmas now i email a list with links to websites that have offers on for that product some of the stuff is only £3 including delivery, much better than some david becham soap on a roap and aftershave box set
