There is no ultimate unbreakable console, none of the new ones aren't that great when it comes to longevity. They all break equally just like every other electronic device in modern households.

I have to disagree my friend. The current generation of consoles are fucking shocking. Since March 06 I'm on my 3rd (or is it the 4th? I've lost count) 360 and I'm in the process of either reparing my 2nd or buying a 3rd PS3 which I originally bought in Nov 07. Thats like 7 consoles in 4 years.
Tell me which other household electronic product needs replacing/repairing due to manufacturing faults or component failure so often?

@ss: well i meant the latter in the way nothing is what it used to be, no electronic gadget lasts as long as they used to. That's just the way of the business today because everything is made faster, cheaper with less testing and often out of cheaper components to make people buy more often and more of them. Consoles seem to break most often out of all but I'm in my 3rd washing machine in 7 years, 3rd tv in 5 years when old washing machines lasted easily much much longer, tube tvs even decades.

Fucking english essays. Due in in 20mins, gonna be an hour late to class and I haven't done any revision for the "class discussion". Fuck this shit.
edit: and I do realise that I should probably be working on it instead of on here but I lost track of what I was writing about when I got a shouting for my mum skidding on a folder. On another blood boil note - people pointing out the gfucking obvious. Explain something to them and their answer is to tell you what you've just told them. Like they've just worked it out. Of course you know that dumbass, I just fucking told you. Now either think about what you're saying or fuck off acting like you've just solved the equivilant to world hunger cos your "help" is fucking infuriating.
I think that's enough venting for today

I here you up there Grimmy. I'm on washing machine number 3 in a space of about 6-7 years too. Bloody new fangled things see, the mother board goes and it costs more to replace than it does to buy a new machine.
reid - I love that rant!
Would you be good enough to participate in this morning's edification?
