There's a seller on ebay called galaxysports1 and I can't work out if they are genuine or not. The Y5's throw me off as do the stock pics but nothing else. Anyone dealt with them before or know if they're legit?

what makes you so sure that these photos are stock photos?
these could be actually took by seller, judging by rest of his stuff...

Ok, thanks guys - they've got a returns policy so if they aren't up to scratch on delivery I can send em back anyways.

I'll get pics up when I can install my camera on this PC but I'll try and describe some of the things that are making me a bit uneasy with the kicks now they've come.
Ok, they are a pair of Kinsey Superstar Skates and the orange stripes are covered in what looks like disco dirt. Blue parts look fine but yellows are covered. Is this normal or has it occured with some other legit sneakers you've had in the past?
Other parts that make me a lil wary are parts of the tag cut/ripped off (part of it looks real clean, the rest is more torn looking). The PO# on the box has been torn off too (although the label lines up with the marker). Also one of the shells doesn't fit flush either and there are also assorted little globs of glue around.
Am I being paranoid and these are standard imperfections or should I be suspicious. I've been stung on ebay before and am always wary of em now.
edit: Just noticed that the main panel looks a lot lower than the picture on rareadidas.com suggests it should be (it matches the ebay sellers stock pic though)

It's hard to tell without photos but I dont think these have been faked.
The dirt on the yellow material is a known problem, a lot of sellers think that it is a design feature - I'm not sure but I had a feeling the first batch I bought did not have this (but the second batch did).
The rest sounds like it could be standard imperfections, check the stitching and the quality of the etching etc. I'd be surprised if they were fakes tho.

Stitching itself looks good but some of the other imperfections also came with the fake G6's I bought a few years back so just wanted to double check. Thanks Mr SS!

if you are talking about imperfections, then i should tell u what i saw yesterday in adidas store in mall. it was on superstar 2 'consortium wannabe'. there was a glue on the shell, and the middle stripe on left outside part of shoe was about half of the width than rest :/ awfull!
cheers
