Do you know the particular name of the Superstar with this embossed pattern on it? I have a pair of Samoa's with this pattern on them, and they were called Samoa MNG's? So I'm assuming the Superstar's would be something like that.

I could have sworn they had gucci written on the box even if it was just in the colour section on the label, I don't have my box anymore so I can't check, I don't remember MNG in the label though.
I don't know if it has MNG on the label of my Ultrastars with the same embossing, I think it does, but they were released a year later ('05) and I can't check the box as i'm out on an oil rig for a week.
If you tell me it's true then I will take it as gospel though shotta.
