dj_wildthing Wrote:I was just thinking how this would look on a colored t-shirt (blue, red, black, whatever) - I'm guessing the shell still needs to be white/cream, or would it work if the graphics were just inverted? Still a kick-ass logo!
Firstly, I would just like to point out that I generally dislike red. I just don't really like it.
Now... I have done some different colour combinations (note: Pure, I didn't say colourways
)
adidasanth Wrote:wud be fairly easy to screen print as it will be one colour, highlight the white on whatever colour tee you fancy!!!
I actually like the two colour options better than one colour, and I don't tthink that the shell needs 'highlighting', the negative space in the design does that enough IMO

^ I don't mind at all Mr.P, they look nice, although I would keep the outsole dark on the bottom pair - it grounds the image a little better...

I reckon the laces look better dark as well.
Tell you what Mr, if you can, raise the mid point of the two Ss and the B so that the relevant size of the hoops is 1/3 to 2/3 if you get what I'm saying, also tale the spine of the D up a gnats further, it'll have a more graffiti feel to it then.
Only a thought, it might look butters but it'll be quicker for you to do than me.

I couldn't see any difference in the one you posted?
Is this what you meant?? I have raised the x-height on the S's and the B, and extended the spine of the D a smidge. Also added a little curve into the bit that joins the S's cos it looked a little off being straight.

mr.spite Wrote:i do feel we need a proper logo (badge) an old school hip hop character like a bode or rock steady crew. b-boy.
This is a little out of left field but... I've been working on a concept for a superstar inspired 8" Munny (vinyl toy) and through sketching, one thing led to another, and I made it look a little ninja turtle like... the original ninja turtles only had half shells, poor guys, my one has a full shell...
could this be developed into something you were thinking of Spite? Even if it's not so turtley, I've been messing round with little sketchs of guys with shells round their mouth...?
