The 1st thing i wanna buy are of course some soups. But i dont know anything about baby's and baby-feet-sizes. So help is wanted on this one.
Can someone help me out?????
First of all many congrats mate. I strted buying my little one Soups and
Smiths as soon as I found out we were having a baby he's got about 6 or 7 pairs now (he has out grown some already and some others he won't be able to wear until he's about 4!!!).
It really depends on how big your baby is and how big it's feet are going to be. The soft crib shoes are the first ones ones to go for and come in Pink and Blue (are you having a boy or girl?) they start at size 1k and go up to 3k I think.
Then you get into serious shoes from 3k upwards thats when you can get proper shoes for walking but they won't be much good until about 12 months as your little one won't be able to stand until then. Also I read that when there feet are growing you don't want them being squashed and deformed by "hard" shoes at such a young age so in the main stick to soft shoes when very young.
The smallest Soups I got were 3k and I think they go up to 6k when they start on proper kids sizes and you start buying their shoes form Asda as they rip them apart in two weeks.
As for where to get them, well if your rich get them from the addidas website they are about £20 a pair!!! Otherwise e-bay but they'll still be about a tenner a pop with postage and they might be a bit shitty because pictures do lie (that happened to me a couple of times), also make sure that they come with insoles as people take them out so the kid can wear them longer.
Other good places are addidas outlets and Sports and Soccer if you have one near you, buy them when you see them and shop in advance as they will ALWAYS grow into them.
Sorry to go on here is the link to my little one's "collection"
