Do the Superstar 1's fit like the Superstar 2's? there are none around for me to try on. I have a wide foot so i usually have to go up a full size in superstar 2's. is there any difference in the fit? thanks.

I find that I am a 7 in 1's and a 7.5 in 2's - i am normally a size 7 shoe.
But having said that if I buy mens I go for the 7 in either

8.5 or 9's in a 2 or a skate.... 9 or 9.5 in a 1 or Vintage. (that's UK of course)

I have found no difference in any Shells apart from Ultra's (they are a wee bit tighter i find) and wear a 9 in all of them but i would say that 1's arent as wide as 2's in my opinion so you may have to go up a size/s in 1's?
I would definately recommend trying a pair on before you buy from ebay etc. There must be somewhere that you can find a pair to try?

1s and 2s make no difference to me size wise.
The only Superstar i've noticed a difference in size was the Adicolor Queens.
Had to sell them because my usual size 9s were a little too snug.

I find a I to be an easier fit than a II.

MY vintage Bordeaux's and snakes fit a little snug. Otherwise I have never noticed.

Less padding on the 1s.
I must say I prefer the look of the 1s. The thin tongue just gives it a little something.
Probably because 1s are a little more hard to find as your usual high street fodder is all 2s.
