Does anyone else here buy backup or duplicate pairs of superstars? It seems like i always buy two pairs of the ones i really like, because i am worried that i won't be able to find them again. or i want to be able to wear them without worry. i must have at least 6 or 7 backup pairs of my favorite soops. that can get pricey...

Yes, if they are limited then keep a pair and wear a pair as that way your not having to worry about condition ect.

I used to buy 2 of shoes that i really liked, but ended up selling them because I either got offered a decent price on them or needed the money.

I don't and probably won't do that. I don't buy soups to sell, I buy them to wear, and if you've worn a pair of soups enough to wear them out then they've had a good life. I do, however, wear more common soups most of the time to save a favourite pairs from unnessecary harm

no, not 6 or 7 pairs of one shoe! i have 6 pairs of soups that i have backup pairs for. I don't think i would go that extreme to buy 6 backup pairs of one colorway!! My backups are of hard to find soops like the brown/orange colorblock from finishline (my favorite soop ever), skates, and personal favorites that i can find backups for cheaply.

i probably won't post pics since they are in one of my storage units. but i am working on some pics of my collection. i don't have the biggest collection in the world, and it's probably a boring one by most's standards, but i should have some pics up by next week for all to see.

I don't buy doubles because the money spent on the backup pair could buy me another colourway that I like.
I wear all mine and i've gotten real good at cleaning them if need be so they all still look new as and i'm resolved to the fact
that like myself they too will one day cease to exist......

I have doubles of a few of mine. I love them and think I got a bargain on them, then find a second pair at an even better price. I will most likely do what scratch said though. If the offers right....

I've got too many soups on my hit list to be spending my mullah on two of the same. Besides, the wench would cut my balls off if I did, I get enough ear-ache buying just the one pair!
