my wife relented and not only let me open the box, I'm wearing them today!

And, as you've seen by my other pics, I'm terrible with the camera. Here's a quick one from my phone.

IIRC, the spider monkey is the best one to use..

But any old primate will do

On a more serious note, im not sure what would be best to use, as many products may damage the finish, and with kicks as sweet as that, i'd not wanna risk it!!
