My replacement PS3 arrived today. Less than a week turnaround, so I'm pretty happy. Thinking about faking an illness so I can head home and start playing.

I picked up Killzone 2 last week and the graphics and AI in single player are pretty impressive, however I'm really not getting on with the multi player.

I don't really like any of the maps and prefer the more stealthy approach to my shooters, every game on this just seems to turn into a massive run and gun fest.

My copy's gong on the bay this weekend.

I was the same tbh with the multiplayer aspect of the game but Ive found the more Ive played it, the more I have learned to like it.

Only thing that lets it down for me is that you have to unlocked different classes of soldier unlike most shooters, where you get them all staright away.

Single player is really good, the final level was a nightmare, think it took me about 40 tries untill I did it. Ending is a bit of a anti-climax but I aint gonna spoil.

Picked up Resident Evil 5 today, only played it for about 30mins, so cant really comment, but first impressions are good.

Next game for me is gonna be White Knight Chronicles (think that is what it is called, lol) as I love JRPG's.

I'm trying to get to grips with SOCOM at the mo, anyone else played it yet? Can't get my head round the control layout and no amount of fiddling and tweaking makes it any better. 32 player frag-fest is pretty cool though.

It's alright, a bit clunky and short on variation in the maps, of which there's only 6 and sometimes there's not much choice in games being played which, with no single player campaign to fall back on, leaves you reaching for the COD4 disc...
