Just wondering what the general consensus is on the Mi Adidas scheme. Is it a respected thing on here or simply considered cheating?

mi adidas is good, but its very limited with what colours / materials you can use. if i had the money i would go for a custom job over a mi adidas, unless they get a load more choices in.

Yeah - I found the colour choices really limited on the Adidas site - it put me off as I couldn't get exactly what I wanted. How would I go about getting customs made? - is there a decent website? Is the cost excessive?

Bongosi do a search for customs that people have commissioned Sneakerphile and Benji to do, and also the Mi adidas thread then you can make your own mind up.

I have used both and have to say I love my mi's, but yes they are expensive (but you can add some writing to them, not sure BB and Deano can do that, yet!) but MrsFC (size 3) struggles to get any decent style soops in that size so I bought a pair of all white then sent them to SP, and he did an awesome job in customising them.

Have a chat to Spitey he seems to be our resident Mi adidas superstar collector! How many pairs now? Laughing

I don't mind the mi adidas at all other than the limited colour palette. I was just trying to find out if purists would dislike the idea of anything other than an official release. Don't want to upset anyone on my new favourite web site.

Fair enough! I love almost all the Pro models - thinking about a custom set but need to think up a decent design first. Would be interested if anyone is trying to shift a set of Pro models UK 9/10. Cheers.

As for the mi adidas, Torsten has the most incredible collection of mi's, I think he just has the eye for a great cw! (torsten is supersk8 btw) Smile
