Anyone seen this CW before? (psst... trick question) -

Hi All,
I'm sure you guys have seen this model/CW?
now..... how about this model?
Well, the short story goes like this.... don't mess around with bleach while you have Supes on your feet. I was only near the bleach for a few seconds and during those few seconds was thinking to myself "this is not a good idea...." and then it happened......
AAAAARRRRRRGGGGGHHHHH
so, I decided to just the bleach the entire other shoe and "finish" bleaching the first shoe and this is what I ended up with....

they didn't turn out too bad. i used straight bleach. no watered down version. let them sit in the sun and dry. and then hose them down with 100% water from the hose. still have hint of bleach smell to them, so at least i know that they are sanitary

that is, until i get my feet in them the next time. the bleach will probably dryrot them and they'll start deteriorating any time now. can't tell if they are a faint yellow or a bright khaki color. can't decide which lace color to use. the blue laces actually match the "blue" on the shoe. oddly enough, the bleach didn't change the color of the stitching anywhere on the shoe. it didn't change the color of the blue on the tongue logo either, so the blue laces match all of that including the blue logo on the heel.
so anyways, just sharing my tragic story of a great pair of 2000's. believe me, i don't need any jabs about messing around with bleach anywhere near Supes. i've learned my lesson.
plus, who needs Benji to do customs when i've got a bottle of bleach right in my garage

thanks guys. the really unfortunate side of course despite the somewhat positive outcome is that i really, really liked the blue color on these. sad to see them gone

I like them. Originals were great but that's pretty good too. They look like 35th Underworlds in those pictures.

They also look slightly Yoda-ish.
Will be interesting to see how they hold up. I reckon, in the interest of science, you should wear the crap out of em to see how long they last

Yes you should and now they should be relatively simple to clean back to their "original" looks. Just dip them back to bleach and voilá...

Well maybe it's not that simple.

i thought the same thing.... Underworld-like and even Yoda-like. Yodas are on my on wishlist, maybe i can cross them off now

you know, spitey, i contemplated "splashing" the unruined one just to see how they'd turn out. but then decided against it. the one that was presplashed just didn't look "right". kind of sloppy. looked like some goofball spilled bleach on it LOL!!!!!!!!!! right now, i'm still working on getting the bleach smell out of them. they sure smell clean that's for sure.
