How To Tell How Old They Are? -
Shellshock - 11-07-12
Sorry for startinga new thread but I'm having a bit of a clear out and in the back of my stack I found a pair of Puma Suedes I'd totally forgotten about owning. I think they're pretty old but not too sure. Am I right in thinking the last two digits of the Art. No. are the year of manufacture? cheers

@shellshock putting up a pic of the shoe/label if possible might help, depends really the last two digits could also be the number of colourways eg.
ART NO :350734 05
MADE ON DATE :05/10

Ok, here's the shoes. Sorry bout the shit photography
And here's the stamp on the tongue. They don't have a label anywhere, other than a small 'Made in Taiwan ROC' one.
I also remembered I have this navy/natural pair
But now I'm not so sure about the last two digits being the year of manufacture as there's no way these are from '88, I bought them about 11-12 years ago

@Shellshock the top (Red) pair look like they are PUMA States and the ART number looks like 90681
Forever Fresh
So the date might be 06/91
The Blue pair of Suede's have the same art number as these:
PUMA Suede
But your factory is different but i believe that is quite common.
These have a made on date of 02/02 so i would maybe say your made on date was 11/00
Hope that helps.

Cheers Sam. It only came about because a shelf litterally collapsed under the weight of all the kicks piled on it, forcing a much needed sort out of the entire room. Stashed them away again, next time I remember them they'll be proper vintage!
