Sorry to ask for help twice in one day!
I have recently struck a deal with an eba* seller for some shoes. He responded to my offer with a counter offer of £1 and added the remaining amount agreed upon in addtional charges, making up the total. I hope that makes sense?? Anyway I figure he is trying to get out of paying his seller fees.... but I am concerned that if the shoes turn out to be fake I will only be able to claim the £1 and not the addtional charges.
I have requested an invoice but received one for £1 plus addtional charges/shipping £**.
What should I do?
Thanks in advance.

I'd try and get a proper invoice or something man... or if they are a bargain maybe suggest that you'd pay the final listing fee if he puts them through properly?

Don't buy them less he's prepared to send you a proper invoice stating
A.price of product (true price)
B.price of postage (true price)
Or like olster said..get him to list a proper buy it now auction for you..and say you'll cover the listing fee
If there's something up and you need a refund and paypal find in your favour but the majority of the price has been stated as "postage" and paypal only say full refund not postage you'd be fecked.

Well he couldn't change the way ebay invoiced, he added a note stating the final item price for fee purposes. I spoke to ebay and they assured me i'd get all funds back if it gets 'lost' in the post or fake etc. Finger crossed. I do think its all legit tho... just wait and see i guess.

i think just the fact that you're asking is reason enough to not go through with it

offer to pay him how much they're actually worth and maybe he'll refund you the difference of how much you over paid and how much he actually wanted for them. there's a daring move.
