hi
ive recently bought these off a seller on ebay who isnt on the fake list and they claim that all their trainers are 100% genuine. Maybe they are genuine but really badly made but I cant see that being the reason. the feeling between my adicolor bought from jd sports and the feel of these is worlds apart.
i was hoping these werent going to be fake but when i opened the box they were already laced up and didnt quite look right. the left side is slightly higher than the right which makes them uncomfortable to wear and already gives off an effect like fake Ugg boots when they collapse. Also, the tongue hasnt been stitched in properly and is crooked so that when you wear them the tongue becomes bunched up. There is also a small gap from material to shell. also, the eyelets seem to be a bit on the small side and there is even a small hole where they must have started doing it by mistake which then leads onto a bigger hole.
These are the worst pair ive bought. I think im going to return them and say theyre faulty so i can get my money back and place the seller on the fake list here.
Heres a few photos:
made in...india?? the info isnt even sewn in, its just a sticker placed on the fabric. both serial numbers ARE different though.

already laced up but with extra blue laces. notice the sloping outer side, makes them uncomfortable to wear.

cant really see it on this photo but the inner material on top looks greenish. ive never noticed that before on any that ive owned.

I say any shoe made after 2004 with one of those 'small triangles' there is fake. The poor construction you mention seems to confirm that.
There are quite a few 'big' sellers on ebay who are genuine, good business people but they can't recognise fake shoes.

ah right. cheers everyone. the seller has stated that i can only return them if faulty, ive emailed them saying theyre a poor fit and asked for a refund. i havent mentioned them being fake yet.
i dont know if i should seeing as he is probably a genuine seller who has accidentally sold some fakes.
thanks anyway!

i would rather have my money back though and reporting through pay pal doesnt seem to do much

I have bought some fakes once from a genuine seller. He didn't know about the fakes and returned my money without a hassle. I didn't even have to return the shoes. So what I'm trying to say is that there are still some honest people out there.
I don't know why you say reporting to PayPal doesn't do much. I have always tried to resolve my problems with the seller first and if that didn't work I used PayPal's help and I have 'won' every single time.

At first I thought that sockliner material looked kinda funky but it looks like it matches other pics with that same ART #
