My Forest Hills, not 100% sure they are real. -
Craig Trefoil - 26-02-10
Hi all,
I introduced myself the other day (it didn't go down too well as a 'noob' who doesn't actually have any sup's (yet)
I signed up as I think that some of you may be able to help me (please don't kjust say that as they aren't sup's they aren't worth having lol) or if not point me in the direction of a place that can.
I have been on 'spot fake adidas' etc & will email them about these.
I purchased these from ebay last week, they are the 'awaydays' colourway ones, they are the 2005 re-issue, however as I've read about shell-toes.com I feel these may have come from there.
Things I've noticed,
The tissue paper inside is plain!
They are made in Indonsesia & the label inside the tongue is stitched on. The labels on my others aren't stitched on & they aren't made there.
The leather feels soft, my other Forest Hills & they aren't as soft.
The soles have red on them where the two small holes are (but my others have a different colour to the sole too)
They were laced like that from the box. I've not touched them.
They sell for over £100 usually on there. I paid £60 in an auction, they were listed as part of the sellers collection, he said they were the 2005 re-issue ones.
I'm just not 100% sure on them, if you can help I'd be grateful
Some pics have the flash on, some don't as the flash was too bright on some of the pics, so they didn't come out that well
Thanks in advance. I can sort bigger/better pics if need be.

first of all, this is a superstar forum mate. no trimm trab forum.
ok, let´s see. from which seller did you bought them? was it a private auction? where your other shoes made? the labels says, they´re made in 05/04. 2005 re-release?
i don´t own any of these shoes, but why shouldn´t the labels stiched on? btw, the plain paper is a sign for a outlet buy. i´ve got some vins which have red paper inside the box, but the shoes are the real deal.
you better asked on crooked tongues mate.

My bad. I was trying to be helpful before someone decided to have a real go at this fella because he thinks we're a generalist site and not a site dedicated to the MIGHTY ADIDAS SUPERSTAR in all its glorious forms.
But yeah, if you aren't going to get some soops, just go to CT and leave us alone.
Not out for the night, T?

Thanks for the replies, my others are made in China.

I know sweet F A about Forest Hills, but I point out one real noticable thing. If they are a 2005 Re release, why does the tongue say 04? I don't know if the serial number thing applies to other adidas sneaks, I'd imagine it probably would. So can you tell us if the serial numbers match?
Best bet would be to ask on CT though...

Cheers, yeah I don't get the date bit either.
The serial numbers do not match.
I'll have a scout on CT too. Thanks.

Well if the serial numbers don't match, that might be a good sign...
