80 = 60 yrs of soles n stripes? - apollion - 29-10-09
Hi everyone..@mod: if this doesn´t fit here, please move..
When I browse the german amazon, I oftenly stumble upon so called 80´s, turning out to be from the 60 yrs of soles n stripes series.
As far as I know, there are only 3 pairs of 80´s in blk/wht, red/wht and blu/wht (plus the consotium edition(s) )and the have the golden leaf on the tongue...or am I mistaking??
Please help.

There's quite a lot more superstar 80s, maybe 10 pairs of general releases plus all the consortiums/colabs etc.

Thx Shotta...btw, is there any official source from adidas which can precisely all the models made?? The 80´s are only 1 case confusing me...

That's what this website was set up to try and do but it's pretty much completely impossible.
Trying to do it would be futile.
Can't believe you run a fan site for the Superstar but you didn't know the dealio about the 80s.

Nothing official but I'm working on it, dont know about futile but it certainly is a big effort / long term project!

Ok, i don't have any 80's supes myself yet.. hopefully will do soon. I've seen at least 12-13 different colourways for them so far and i've probably missed a few.

Fuck yeah, you're doing an amazing job with that but the back catalogue has got to number 50,000 pairs and I'll bet that a lot of them are lost and gone forever.
Futile was a bad choice of words, sisyphean probably sums it up best.

Still doubt that there´s noone who knows it all, I mean adidas must have some sort of catalogue, I will try to contact the german headquarter soon...and I´ll let you know

They are notoriously useless in the replies department.
They don't care about the record of old releases because it would be a massive job to keep up if they started now, never mind the back catalogue.
