What are the experts saying of these - Marco82 - 04-09-09

Although I read a lot of how to spot fakes on here I have one pair in my collection that I have doubts about, or actually two pairs because a couple of days ago I received a pair of Supes that I also have some questions about.

The first pair that I have my doubts about are the Sciences, they look fine but the leather looks/ feels a bit thinner than in most of my other Supes and there are some signs of not so good stitching:

The second pair is a pair of papaya/ white patents that I received last week. It is a 2000 release and I'm not really into the fake spotting of older models, that's why I hope that you can help me with these. I know that the heel tag is ok because it's an older release but I have my doubts about the box (the older Supes come in brown boxes but do they have the equipment logo?) and about the labels inside the tongue and the tags. They only costed 34 euro incl. shipping from Germany, so I hope that I did a good purchase on them:

From what i've seen the pat's should be fine and if so a great buy.

For the sciences, i honestly can't say. They do seem legit and i can't really spot out a flaw besides the ones you listed.

I know that they made red patents with silver stripes on 2000. If we are talking about the same model then they are not old enough for heel tags.

I'd say they both look legit Marco, although I havent seen a pair with that type of brown tag on the shoe - but looks like they were for an Asian market going by the text.

Both look legit to me. Your only worry is the dodgy stitching on the sciences, but even so they should still be real.

that stitching on the MIDDLE stripe of sciences is absolutely horrendous! so wonky, not parallel with the sides of the stripes and uneven on both sides.... still...if everyone rekons they are legit then they probably are Smile

I'm still not sure about the sciences either, when I put them on they just don't feel the same as my other Supes. I can't really explain what it is (my english isn't that good to explain it right Embarassed ), but when I put my Supes on I feel that I have a good quality shoe on my feet, but I don't have that feeling with the sciences. I don't know if that's the case with all the sciences, do the sciences have thinner leather than most of the other supes by the way?

They might feel different due to that fact that the science are a superstar lux release (i think i could be wrong) not an ss1 or 2 or vin!!!
I think there legit myself but i'm no expert on these matters anymore but if mrshotta says there legit i'd stop worrying m8
