Think the last time i posted a pair from uk to kotf in the US it cost me £16-£17 and that was for a pair of soops double-boxed,1st class internationally signed for by royal mail.

Well I dunno about US to UK, but from Canada to UK/Europe, its a biatch...anywhere from $55-80 Cdn, depending on the type of service i.e. 3-5 days/8-10 days/air/surface....of course it esp depends on weight...

i never realised it was this high
if it was around £15 like it is here like Pokey stated i would have gone for them
but i checked what the seller was saying and wanted £25-£30
way too much

The US is not the same as Canada...US should be better...Canada is simply horrid re: post costs...

I'm not sure what it actually costs them, but most US shops tend to charge around $40-$50.
It's also worth remembering that the postage costs are added to the value of the item when they work out your customs charges.

Which is why i rarely buy anything from the US or elsewhere outside EU for that matter. Don't feel like paying twice the price for my soops in the form of taxes and customs fees. In a worst case scenario.

That IF you get busted for duty/customs....my last two additional costs were purchases from:
a) FC
2) CT
And thats b/c it was shipped via courier which Canada Customs 'pull over' 90+% of the time..thus the BS brokerage and duty charges...never forgive CT for the $85 hit, just b/c they coudln't put 'gift' on the form...FC is/was just stuuuupid...
