(If this thread has been done before then Im sorry!)
What mobile/cell phone are you currently using? Is it any good? Whats the best one you've used? Have you got your sights on a new one? My contract ends in a few months and ive started looking, im quite interested in the iPhone or a T mobile sidekick... any recomendations?

I've got a Motorola V3x, and for what I need it does an allright job. Pretty easy to use, and the camera (2MP) isn't too terrible, apart from an absolute maximum of four days standby battery life. I wouldn't mind upgrading; I probably won't get a flip phone again, but I thought that last time too, and didn't find a non-flip phone with the toys I wanted for a reasonable price
An iphone would be nice - but only because they're pretty. The camera is no better than what I've got currently, and 8Gb (or 16Gb) has no chance of making my ipod defunct, although the bigger screen would be nice for movies, although I watch them infrequently. Everytime I think I want one I manage to think of a million reasons why I don't want one - but I still want one...
I wouldn't mind an N95 or similar - but they're
mighty expensive over here.

I have a Blackberry 8830...
I love it because it has a great web browser, I use the email feature like crazy and individual buttons are a must. I tried an iPhone but I just don't care for the touchpad keyboard. Too many "Fat fingers".
The only thing I don't like about it is when you have it on vibrate & Tone mode, It vibrates most of the time and only rings for a few seconds before going to voicemail. So if it's on the cradle, I often can't pick up before it goes to voicemail

im using an N95 now
and i love it =p
but wth? no stopwatch??
lol
but i gotta give it back to my sis who will give me an 8800
i honestly dont like iphones
not a fan of touch screens...
well, it depends on what you want in a phone
do you want it for a phone was originally designed for? so a stylish one such as the 8800 arte would do good
or a phone that lets you do everything with it? like the n95 or iphone

Samsung d600 and a Nokia 6600 as backup. I roll in style.
Both have an address book, both have a camera (although I rarely use em and the nokia's is shit) and both were cheap. I've got a seperate MP4 player so don't need a fancy phone really - don't even get signal at my house so seemed a bit of a waste to drop £150+ on something I can't use half the time

iphone imho fails bigtime. its all just the "hype". rival phones such as the LG viewty are by far superior in almst every aspect. ive been told its camera quality is poor, theres no MMS, and no bluetooth function.
currently using the sony ericsson k800i, not too expensive, not too cheap. it gets the job done.
hear the N95 8gb is the shit still these days. only downside is its size :S

got a nokia n81 8gb at moment like it a lot better than the n95 i used to have only problem is the 8gb memory is internal memory so not as easy to swop pictures with the computer you need to use nokias pc suite which can be a bit of a pain sometimes
but i notice they are releasing the n96 pretty soon which looks the nuts !!!

Been using O2 for my personal phone for years always found it better than the other networks, which I have encountered with my work mobiles.
Currently using a Sony Ericson W960i which to be honest is shit can't wait to get rid of it

Personal phone- w850i
Is actually stupidly good for the 30 pound i paid for it, like every other sony erricson ive owned its near invincible.
Work-W810i
Was the defintive phne to have in my area, cause the only thing that seemed to break was the speaker if it was dunked into summat.
I wouldnt recomend an N80, if yr accident prone you'll destroy it in a matter of days, no resistance to fluids. Fooking good features though.
