Sizing question: Supes vs halfshells - dj_wildthing - 14-08-08

Does anyone know if Superstars and Halfshells fit exactly the same? I assume they're basically the same shoe except for the Halfshells missing half a shell...

i feel that the halfshells are a looser fit at the sides.

If you normally go up a half size for soups then you'll probably find that you don't have to in Halfshells, because of the "lack" of shell there is a lot more give in the toe area. And I think Mr S is right they feel a bit looser on the sides.

haha, well, to be honest I've seen a pair of Halfshells that I like, but since they're halfshells there's just something missing, so I'm thinking about buying them and getting a full shell attached instead of that half sh*t... I have no idea if it will happen, but it would be nice to at least know what size to get before starting the process

I didnt know you could replace the shitty half shell with a full one? It sounds great but where are you gonna get a shell from... Unless you destroy an old pair coz I dont know anywhere where you can buy shells from.

My half shells are a 11.5 and fit fine. All my soops have to be at least a 12, preferably a 12.5.

There's a definite discrepency.
