Dates on some 35th anniversary -
pokey27 - 18-04-08
Ok im alittle puzzled and was seriously worried for a second.
I've just recieved some 35th anniversary andy warhols
and like normal opened em up,checked tags, checked heel, checked serial numbers etc etc etc THEN i look @ the date/yr of the shoe and saw
11/04
After checking on pys i saw that 11/04 is the correct date for them but as all 35ths where a 2005 release why the the 2004 date?? surely the date shoulda been 02/05 when they where released???
Am sure 1 of the specialists can answer this it just kinda shitted me up for a min thought i'd bought the best fakes ever then
Any idea's????
p.s ive checked afew other 35ths i have and there's afew not date 05 but the back end of 04 (will post pics once i'm fully awake and had nicotine fix)

OKAY 2nd question
Say you needed under 10pairs of 35th to complete the collection of the 35!!would you bother trying to complete the collection even if some of the models you really wasn't keen on just for the sake of completing it??

yeah, i don't think i would spend money on kicks i didn't like, even if it was to complete the collection. though, in your case, you can actually complete it, in which case i might, but i would definitely be bargain hunting for those last few.
i couldn't imagine paying more than a few rupees for the goofys, for instance.

Buy fakes of the 4 you don't like
Goofys were fresh though, take that back!

to each their own!
i don't suppose it was someone here who picked up those D-Mops that showed up on flightclub a few weeks back?
woody, i know it wasn't you - they were a US9 or something like that.

I have 25 outta 35.
There are only 3 pairs from the Consortium series I actually liked, and I left it too late to get them.
I didn't get the Berlin or London ones because they look shit! and I didn't get the 35th pair because i'm not about to spend a couple of grand on a pair of kicks I wouldn't wear.
I think that getting a full collection like this just for the sake of having them is pointless, and it also stops people who want certain pairs getting them, because you've gone and bought them when you don't even like them (if you see my point
)
Bottom line, like Spite says, just get what you actually like mate.

Yeah phile ya right!!sod getting em for getting thems sake. And i agree i dont like the londons 1 little bit or them project playgrounds.
I'm one of these people who normally like to have the fullset of something if its at all possible,I probo won't bovver less they end up being a cheap pickup
CHEERS FOR ALL THE INPUT LADS ON THE RELEASE DATES AND THE COLLECTING
