i would have checked the weather forecast before i went out. And generally when i have important meetings they usually mean i need to wear a suit anyway...

I was wearing my Footpatrols last time I met up with the chaps in London, sure enough it started to rain, later on it pissed down while I was cycling home in them.
Hasn't done them the slightest bit of harm and I frankly don't give a monkey's about wearing them if there's a chance of rain in future.

I always check the weather if I'm gonna be wearing a rare/mint pair. Too easy to get them messed up otherwise (gotta walk down dirt tracks daily to get to car)
