How is everyone doing? I came across your site when I saw an thread on the Ian Brown Superstars. Some really interesting stuff... Never occured to me the ones i bought of ebay may be fakes (perfect box, laces wrapped, solarized leaflet etc), and since i am work i am going to have to wait till i get home to check.
Anyway hope all is well, and thought i would drop in and say hi as i saw someone get slaughtered for asking a question with out introducing themselves haha
take it easy

hello and welcome!
and dont worry about the people on here, so long as you engage your grey matter before asking a question, and you're polite and well mannered then you'l get along just fine!
(I think they like to seem mean at times, but secretly underneath their hard exteriors they are all great big softies who love to share a hobby/lifestyle with others!)

Cheers lads, yeah its stuart, originally from Glasgow, but now living in America.
Looked at the shoes there, read somewhere that if the serial numbers on the inside of the tongue are the same they are fake, looks like i got a class pair of fakes, but ive been wearing them for ages now... and i didnt pay a lot for them, think about $130 so would make sense on them being fakes. If im being honest it never even crossed my mind before i stumbled upon here.
Looks like i can now try and find an authentic pair and keep them for show or grin and bear it and keep buying good replicas to wear. Last time I trust ebay!
Cheers for the welcome, hopefully you lads and lasses can inform me of some good gear!
