Link didn't work but I'd have thought so.
You can always upgrade when you get better.

Make sure they are definitely direct drive and you should be ok.
You could alway try and get some 2nd hand Technics. Even if they look a bit battered they generally still work fine. Obviously you'd need to test them first though.
Numark ones your looking at will be sound to begin with though.

nooooooo nothig under a ton is worth getting there harder to learn on an will probably break
i find on a budget stantons are pretty ok but if your deadly serious u might as well just get technics as they last forever an hold there value round my way at cash converters u can pick em up for about £150 each coz pure crackheads just rob em an sell em to the shop lol

Effel, without sounding like i'm putting you off, its worth considering what is really required: turntables, carts, stylus, mixer, headphones, slipmatts, amp, speakers, they all go hand in hand.
I think you will also get bored very quickly without a decent record collection, and unfortunately there are no short cuts (i.e. free downloading) if your going down the Th'owd Skool route of putting the 'needle on the reckid' . Yes you can pick up a lot of records at great prices from eBay and shops such as Vinyl Exchange in Manc. but you would seriously need to spend at least a few hundred quid to start with and make it worth while, afterall you dont want to be the DJ who plays the same track 3 times a night do you? I had a few mates who's dj career lasted only a month or two down to them getting bored mixing the same dozen records they had.
Think wisely..
By the way if you do go for the Technics get the 1200's the silver finish is much nicer than the 1210's.

I used to have decks, Stanton direct drives. They weren't exactly cheap but still had no power really despite being direct drive. I liked the ease with which you could stop and speed up the platter though personally, I found it easier than the mad powerful technics
I'd say get the cheapest belt drives you can get to start with - If you're still into it in a year or two then buy 1210's
The "halfway between the two" style direct-drives are still weak as you like

Already got a decentish speaker setup, although as it stands i may be able to get a free pair of direct drive numarks for free off my mate, as hes going up to 1210s when his money from the record company come through.
