I dont think that its a members only its just basically you can only enter if you can prove you have your own business or something like that because it gives you a reason to maybe purchase items in bulk and for cheap.
I think anyway.

The one in York, didn't have much original clothing, more equipment stuff than anything, however it did have a good selection of sneakers, especially for someone with tiny plates like yourself, they didn't have too much in a 12/12.5 for moi!

I think they are on most of the McArthur Glen outlets - Ashford, Bridgend, Cheshire Oaks, Mansfield, and York. They are also at Clarks Village, Street and Lakeside Village, Doncaster.
The stuff sold is at least 30% off but is out of season stock and everytime I've been to any of them have been disappointed, I think it's a bit luck of the draw in terms of what they have in stock at any particular time. [i have to go to these god awful places for my job, wouldn't choose to go to them normally!]

Thanks for the replies. I was wondering if the Stockport shop was any different to the adi shops at the Outlet villages. Oddly enough I was at the Cheshire Oaks shop today, nothing much there apart from some cheap promodels and some white SS vins for about 30 notes in most sizes.
Yep, its all about the timing.

I go regularly, nothing like the oulet type stores like McArthur Glen, Cheshire Oaks etc. This is part of an old factory / mill (Pear Mill) that Adidas have as a shop, I believe Adidas also have offices there. You need a pass to get in, my girlfriend has a pass that doesnt expire, however you can get a pass (like a businesscard) you surrender on entry (you get another one free with any purchase, so you can come again)
I've had some bargains from there in the past, i.e. sample Superstars for £10 a pair (being a size 8.5 helps) Last time there a couple of weeks ago they had a lot of Promodels, Superstar 1's, Luxs, priced around £20-40.
You really need to go regularly or get a tip off that new stock is arriving and when.
If anyone wants a pass, drop me a pm, as I may have a few spares.

Thanks Ads, much appreciate the heads up. We're all sneaker freaks, and in our heads we build up a picture of visiting a superstar mecca only to be disappointed!!
I made a "pilgrimage" to the Originals Store in Tokyo back in 2002 and was gutted at how small it was, although at the time I could have walked past a pair of super ape star and not batted an eyelid.
Do you or your good lady have someone on the "inside" who can pass on rare shell drops info?

No but if you ask the 'friendly' fella
who's usually on the till, he can sometimes give an idea on when the next delivery is due.
Maybe we could start a 'sticky' thread, which is updated after we have been to let everyone know whats in stock? what do you reckon Harv?
Does anyone else go?

I live in Stockport and never bothered to investigate this potential paradise, but from what I've read on here it may be worth the 2 mile drive down the road!
