Who else is gonna join me?
*newsflash* camden council are now charging £50 for littering if you drop a cigarette butt on the floor after smoking it. bastards. funny how its only really enforced in the south of the borough and not places say hampstead or highgate where people actually have money, which is in the north. anywhere else doing this draconian nazi-ism?
RE: smoking ban -
streak - 05-07-07
^^ what wrong with that?? Dropping a fag butt is littering!
Stub it out, pick it up and throw it in the bin! Would you throw a empty beer can on the floor??
RE: smoking ban - Da Camden Ayatollah - 05-07-07
Yes but i don't drink. anyway, one has to stub out there cigarette first. but where? on the walls counts as criminal damage. the pavement? makes unsightly marks which would probably get u a bollocking from the council. One then has to pick it up like a pikey of the floor, which would be squashed to the floor if its stubbed out. Finally, one has to look for a bin, and hope they stubbed it out properly so the bin don't catch fire an one don't get dun for guess wot?criminal damage and very possibly arson!
besides y does the authorities have an army of street cleaners then? I understand ur point streak. littering ain't good and i am being hypocritical here but lets b realistic.
PS. Who drinks a can of beer in a public place anyway? apart from tramps.

Coventry town centre has been doing that for the last year, everytime I go I always throw my lit ciggie end in the bin - if it sets on fire then it is their fault!!!!!!
At least I have put my "Rubbish" in the bin!!!!
Serves the bastards right!!

BLAZE IT UP GANGSTAS!
I think people shuld be able to apply for a smoking ban, and old mans pubs dont have to so the old guys can sit and smoke pipes!
RE: smoking ban -
scratchandsniff - 05-07-07
Give it a couple of weeks and you'll be thankful that it came into place.
Not been able to smoke in public since last year up here in Scotland.
A better place it is too for it.
Only downside is that your more aware of other smells, particulary in clubs and pubs.
