lol check out this response from drphd147 when the bfriend asked him how he can sell his kicks for such a low value and make a profit (a pair of Warhols for buy now £44.99):
Hi, Thanks for your question. Please note that you CANNOT get 100% authentic ones for anywhere near these prices. I am a collector myself and i can tell you that i haven't come across any other Ebayer who is selling 100% Authentic ones (even if they do say that they are 100% genuine and charge a more realistic price of hundreds of pounds). I clearly don't say that mine are authentic in my description because i don't want to mislead anyone. Over the last couple of years i have bought a number of the 35th Anniv. models from Ebayers claiming them to be 100% Genuine and have paid hundreds of pounds only realising that they are fakes after i've got them. There two types of these on sale on Ebay. They are either the cheap quality Chinese fakes or the higher quality items made in Indonesia by the original manufacturer. It's just that the manufacturer was licensed to produce a limited number by Adidas, but they continued to produce more afterwards. Therefore, you can't call them authentic as they were not licensed by Adidas to produce any more. My items are the latter and not the cheap quality Chinese fakes. They are well worth the money and i would rather buy something that is just like the real thing and pay only a fraction. Sorry about the lecture, but i hope it helps.
What a load of bullshit
I replied for the bfriend saying that I certainly wouldn't buy a Metro if it had a Mercedes badge stuck to the front of it - and I defintley wouldn't do the same with my kicks

This is his reply to the metro comment:
Thank you for your input and opinion. I understand your position and i applaud you for your stance. However, the example you have given of a Metro with a Mercedes badge is way off the mark. My shoes are made by the 'ORIGINAL' manufacturer, using the original drawings and materials. The only difference is that they weren't authorised by Adidas to continue to produce them. A better example would be if Mercedes ended the production of a model, but the factory workforce decided to build that model in their own time, using the same machinery and parts. Strictly speaking as Mercedes didn't license it, it wouldn't be 100% authentic, but definitely not a Metro with a Merk badge. Large companies like Adidas have been taking advantage, using slave labour in the third world and have been producing items for next to nothing. They then sell these items for extortionate prices. Funnily enough, i got into all this when whilst a potential buyer, i sent a similar question to an Ebay seller a while ago, but my view has since changed. Some may say that what i am doing it is still technically wrong. The labour force in the 3rd world get the same money, but the large corporation just doesn't get their unfair chunk. I have sold hundreds and have not yet had a single complaint. When i take a break from selling for a couple of weeks, i get numerous emails from buyers who want to buy more and want me to list them. Many are returning curtomers and have even bought on 4 or 5 ocassions. Thanks for your honest reply and i agree with most of what you have said. All the best.
what a fucking dickhead

He's talking shit as well.
There is no fucking way they are made in the same factories with the same amterials, f they were then why the missing station names on the LQ's and the wrong colours on several of the Consortiums.
He's talking utter shit.
RE: drphd147 - Da Camden Ayatollah - 28-06-07
Fair play to him for being honest. And some fakes are incredibly good so what he is saying there is some truth in it about workers producing 'after hours'. After hours means that there is no standards set so it is pot luck at times, which explains the shitty and the shit hot fakes. I don't agree with what he's doing but I know plenty who would, and buy off him.

fake just as superstars are perfect (shape etc), but as limited releases they are not that good..

Yep some fakes are better than others, but they are all made with cheap materials, I would be extremely surprised if any additional ones got out of the Adidas factories through the back door as he claims.
I've some fake Bad Boys, wore them once for a few hours, the sole has visually worn and the outer looks shabby already.
Fakes, good, bad or indifferent are just not worth a penny!
