Anyone help please? -

Just recieved this from paypal:
In order to continue with the investigation of your claim, we must request
documentation to support your claim that the item is not authentic. Please
obtain a document from an unbiased, third-party, such as a dealer,
appraiser, or another individual or organisation that is qualified in the
area of the item in question (other than yourself), which clearly
identifies the item as not authentic. If possible, the document should
include a serial number and description of the item, and must be on
letterhead that includes the name, address, and phone number of the
individual, business, or organisation so that PayPal may contact them if
necessary.
Anyone know where , who, what I should do now?
Cheers

They didn't tell me any of this and the claim still shows as open.
I assume I've got a claim openm, where is the claim button, how do I know I haven't just opened a dispute ?

You have to escalate it from a dispute to a claim...
RE: Anyone help please? -

Don't see a facility to do that.
Pretty certain I started a claim from the get go.

good point, someone else used me cos of my position on here, and i think ebay know about us by now
but try MRSS as he's got an ebay account manager etc and will be known by name

My eBay account manager has left and I havent spoken to a replacement yet. I really really hate Paypal and give them a lot of shit, so I might not be the best person. Maybe Olstar could knock up a standard letter from Superstardb that can be emailed to anyone with this problem?

Try adidas uk!

I think we could do it through this forum - say if a few mods agree that an item is fake then we add the details to a standard letter saying that 'Superstardb.com identifies the item as not authentic'. I think we fit the bill:
'organisation that is qualified in the area of the item in question'

Sounds good to me.
Can I have the first letter ?

If it's at all possible then I would be most grateful.
It's taken so long now that it's not a case of gettinh my money back it's more of not letting the robbing bastard get away with it!
