hi new here -

hi i'm new to this forum (as well as to sneakers in general). I just learned about Adidas superstars and I think they look really good. However, I don't understand all the differences between the versions of the superstars.
I was looking at adidas's site
http://www.shopadidas.com/product/in...colorId=466537
and this shoe looked good to me. However, I think Adidas probably sells the shoe at a higher price than if you bought it at a store or some kind of third party.
How much should they cost?

That didn't link to any shoe in particular fella.
Welcome to the site though.
How about telling us a bit more about yourself.
Where you are, how old, what you do, all that kind of thing.
And how come you're so new to trainers and superstars in particular.

sorry this was the link I meant to post.
um i'm 17 (turning 18 soon) and I live in Brooklyn, NY.
I was never really into shoes but I just saw these shoes and wanted to learn more about them. It seems so complicated buying shoes these days lol so i just want to be more informed. Like for example, I don't get how there can be so many versions of just ONE shoe with minor changes that can change the price of the shoe.

Right price
Its essentially different qualities of materials mate. And numbers released.,
-
mr.pure - 26-11-06
That's it allright.
Different materials call for different prices and numbers released is obviously very important.
I'm amazed that you are new to trainers and especially new to superstars but the good thing is you've found the best first so you don't got to waste your money buying shite trainers before you come to the classic Superstar.
Welcome aboard.

Welcome limache, good to hear you're getting into superstars.
If I was you i'd hook up a pair of 35th anniversary New Yorks or some of the series 6 adi-colors (all NYC) then you can rep the BK proper!

Superstars with Torsion bar....what will those crazy guys at Adidas come up with next!
-
Effel - 26-11-06
Hmm. What would a torsion bar do in a trainer? Make you ever so slightly taller?

limache - 26-11-06

oh yeah i was wondering...are there certain shoes that are released in certain areas of the world (as it is with cell phones or videogames etc etc). Like Britain would have an exclusive shoe that no other country has and vice versa.
