Picked my DMCs up today, I'm sure you all know what they look like so no pics.
They are a bit dirtier than I thought though, gave them a scrub with a sponge and some water earlier, no luck. Anything else I can try to get the back close to normal?

toothbrush and toothpaste is what I normally use. Others have recommended the magic eraser.

Olstar, we need a clean/restoration thread...or do we have one (given I'm too lazy to look)?
Generally good old muscle, soap and warm water and a brush of some sort (toothbrush is great) are standard cleaning tools...the Magic Eraser works wonders, although be careful, depending on the shoe, it could make things worse, b/c of the chemicals within...test it out first - VERY good though...Jason Marxx sneaker solution is really good with water and brush...smells nice too...Windex is great for getting the soles white again...use the nubuck eraser for suedes/nubucks...

Soap or washing up liquid works, so does washing up powder for laundry- I use this and a toothbrush on my leather supes and on the rubber soles, scrubbing in a circular motion. The magic eraser works a treat too, but falls apart into little lumps if you scrub with it.
Then if theres real tough ingrained dirt on the rubber soles, Mr Pure's reverse toothbrush shank method works well too!
There is a thread around here somewhere for this kind of shizzle though...
*EDIT And here it is:
how to keep your kicks fresh, loads of useful tips there fella

Hey Akers, Try out OxiClean with an upholstery brush. Should work good. always works great for me. Careful on the printed areas though...
