Xbox broke down after less than 20 days (RROD). Only way I could afford it was to use it for a couple of months (only wanted it for the UFc game) and then sell it on. I'm now down £150 and didn't even get a chance to play the game. Fucking pissed off.

Is it that red ring thing Reid? Might be worth phoning Microsoft anyway, they never asked me for when I bought it or anything like that. They promised to sort all consoles that did it regardless of warranty. While ago now but prob still worth a phone call.

Word, mine's been back to them 3 times now with the RROD and never paid for it to be repaired/replaced once. Give 'em a bell man.

RROD is the #1 reason why I never bothered buying one... as much as my mate bugs me to get one to play fifa09 lol

Problem is it's got a voided warranty anyway (case has been opened, think it's been chipped). CAn give it a try I guess but trying to recoup money from the seller atm - at least get half my money back.

Yeah worth a phonecall mate, you never know.
I've been lucky with mine overall, only did it once (so far...) and was quite impressed with the service when they fixed it. OK it shouldn't have happened in the first place but at least they dealt with it well.
I think the newer models are a lot less likely to do it Steve, they worked out what was causing it, something to do with overheating or whatever.

Haye v Klitschko off due to a Haye injury. Been looking forward to this for a long time, one of the few boxing matches I've been excited for in a while.
