Being mugged for 250 notes by VW for a "service".
Courtesy car (polo bluemotion, total rubbish btw) was a disgrace, wouldn't take it unless they cleaned/fumigated the inside.
Then they say that the passenger door alignment and faulty boot mechanism (that should be sorted via the warranty) can't be fixed.
Why, what's the fault? I ask.
Erm, we don't know, reply the idiots.
And after all that they fail to stamp the log book.

You were too good for that job anyway streak
When i had my golf i had it serviced at an independant specialist as vw take the piss with their servicing costs, twats, enjoy your redstripe mate!

Bad luck, Streak.
I had a Mark IV GTI. Total lemon. And Volkswagen service sucked my will to live. During one particularly unpleasant phone call where the service manager was refusing to fix something under warranty I said to him, 'You know, it feels like you've got me bent over and you're reaming me and there's nothing I can do about it'
After the transmission got replaced, when they phoned me to say the car was ready for pickup, I replied, 'No thanks. I don't want it. Sort something out because I'll never drive that thing again.' Two days later I was out of my lease.

Cheers lads, am okay now, but was fuming earlier on.
The GTI (MK V) is a fantastic car that VW don't deserve to make/sell/bugger about with.

I know size? had the 80's and solebox and various other places... but not for £40

Sucks sk8 - didn't he charge you that much last time and package said it cost £12 or something?
RE: Things that make your blood boil -
flyingcod - 17-05-09
At worst RM Signed for costs to send a box on kicks is 6-8 pounds sterling.
What does he send them in, lead lined boxes?
Ah, sorry, I remember the "box" he sent Streak.
Email him back and say you'll collect in person, ebay should give you his home address.
That way you can give him a slap from all of us.

Erm.. Sk8 doesn't live in the UK fella.. So I think the airfare would be a little more than the postage he's charging.
Report him to ebay for overcharging on postage.. I'm pretty sure that's why his last shop was closed down!
