Could someone guide me on Evisu jeans? How are they sized, do they shrink (didn't someone just say that?) and how baggy are they? I really need some new jeans, and they look quite good!

I have had several pairs over the years and the rule for me is that they shrink a full size so I am a 36 so I bought the 36, BEFORE I knew of the shrinkage!!! went down to a 34 with a wash! Always turn em inside out and cold wash them, without any detergents.
Complete pain the arse if you ask me!

I see... Never had any problems with jeans shrinking before. Why do these do it then?

Raw Denim, not pre shrunk or anything! Dunno either, only that my mate scored for a jacket & jeans once, and that was a nightmare!!!!

They look cool though. Any idea of how much they'll shrink?

36 relates to my waist size in inches so a good 1.5-2inches all round, get the next size up and you should be fine!

my advice: don't wash your jeans. especially raw denim.

Do they really shrink 3-5 cms in the waist?! That insane! I'll try ordering a pair of 34/34s and see how they are. I can return them if they are too huge (before washing of course).

Reminds me of buying a pair of 501s off ebay. Seller had them as 32 waist and originally, they were. When they came to me I measured the waist at 27 inches
Least they only cost me £12

raw denim is dangerous stuff to wash. i bought a pair of levis 501 shrink to fit and lost at least 2" off the length and 4" off the waist.
still pissed that i washed them at all as the raw denim finish was lost forever.

So how the f.... should I clean 'em?

how dirty do you get them? you don't have to walk through mud and puddles, do you?
i've got two pairs of japanese selvedge jeans - neither ever washed, 1 pair almost a year old and one pair 6 months old. if i get any crud on them i give em a quick wipe off and that's it.

hello, after weeks of trying to find a website, let alone a store that sold these jeans, i stumbled across an auction website claiming to sell 8 different styles of jeans. the guy sells all different sizes.
I was extreamly weary and was pretty certain they would be rubbish or just a con. but i fell in love with the jeans and took a gamble... the gamble paid off and i received an amazing pair of jeans at an all right price. and come with all original packaging and genuine labels inside.
the guy told me he has a retailer in Japan and he buys them in bulk to sell to UK. im sure he wont mind if i give you his email... krisdixey @ hotmail . com
check it out, well worth it!
