An hour back now, a supporter attacked the keeper. The keeper had a red card for it and the trainer taked the players from the field. Match is striked.

After the match the referee stated that Esteban should have walked away as soon as the attacker was down, instead of starting kicking that guy, which wasn't self defence anymore but violence and resulted in the red card. Ok rules are rules, but personally I can't imagine that you just walk away when someone has just tried to attack you from behind. I think it's quite normal that you want to be sure that he doesn't get a second chance. That clown could have carried a knife or something like that.
The attacker was a drunk 19 year old guy who has said against the police that his motive to go on to the pitch was the fact that he simply hates Esteban.

Disagree there Marco, Estefucker should be suspended for more than a match for that (if thats what a red card will get him). If he was worried about a knife then he should have restrained him or legged it. There is no excuse for kicking a man when he is already down.. It's just not cricket?

I'm going the other way on this to Benji..I say fair fooking play to the keeper but you can clearly tell he's a keeper as he missed his head with both kicks..
One day some idiot who apparently "loves football" will get on the pitch and either kill a player or seriously injure them..Like in that video the keeper was clearly attacked so he was well within his rights to fight back...To a point kicking a man when he's down is not cricket but either's attacking someone from behind like a pussy..1-1 i'd say
Reminds me of that day Monica seles was attack/knifed at the french open/us open???...it's only a matter of time before some similiar happens in another sport
