Niceness Sam. Do the stripes have a funny texture to them, kinda look like they're made of fibre glass? Think I have some but with blue stripes

I don't know, they seem to have the same texture as the stripes on a few other pairs, like my 98's or some of the SS1's...

Cant be the same then. The ones I have are metallic and although they've obviously not, they look like they've got lots of little glass fibres embedded in them, like the inside of an..err...object made of fibre glass. You'd defo notice if it compared to a regular stripe. I'm gonna shut up now.

is anyone willing to part with their adidas stencil? be willing to pay for it, obviously. LET ME KNOW.
i've just moved into a new house with white walls in my room and would be fantastic to use that stencil and decorate the walls a bit =D
i just went over to my local FL and was able to find adidas cardboard boxes on display that i asked to buy and the manager gave'em to me for free!
also, hope to go out to a shop and have a custom 'Neon Bar Sign' made of the adidas trefoil! =D
but yea, anyone who does not really want their stencil from there Adicolors, SHOOT ME A PM!

Wouldn't it be cheaper and easier to make your own stencils?

i thought about it, but i'm not exactly the creative type. like cutting out the letters and making the edges on a self-made stencil would probably be a tad too difficult for me. unless i can go somewhere and get them made? not too sure.
ahah now i just feel useless

Hey good idea.
Get a member to scan it, so you can print it and laminate it.
and then you have an even ...
Really like to get a copy my self

but if you laminate it.. you can't use it as a stencil, unless you carve out the extra laminate.

You could probably get something printed on strong card or something?

I used to do a lot of stencils then paint or spray them on canvases done quite a heap actually. What i used to do was lay a piece of acetate over the image you want to stencil then trace over, i then used a stencil cutter basicallly which was like a soldering iron which melted through the acetate or use a surgical scalpal, i was actually thinking of doing some adidas canvases.
Heres a pic of a canvas i done.
