Crooked Tongues seem to have history of letting peeps down with the pre order nonsence. This is what a member of staff has posted on the forum:
"Hi all. Sincere apologies for a run of pre-buy let-downs recently. Some stock has not been coming in on time or has been lost on our order books. Hurts us as it does you. Affected orders have been canceled as soon as possible if we discover we cant honor an order. We are taking steps to turn this around and once the outstanding orders are dealt with you'll only be seeing previews, and pre-buys that are on the shelf & ready to ship. Bear with us and apologies again if you've been caught up in this. You are welcome to email me on benf@asos.com or send me a message with any pre-buy related or store issues. Best, Ben"
No more pre-orders seems like a sensible move to me . Only sell what you have got in stock and stop pissing people off.

They've let me down on one Pre-order before but this as been the worst if i end up not getting them i'll be seriously pissed off
Cheeky bastards keep asking if i'd like to cancel my order and offered be a pitiful 10% discount code for my next order as compensation!!
I ain't fucking cancelling after all this time not when they've had £77 sat in there account 3months
Dunno which is worse the pitiful 10% or the fact they think i'd order from them again

If you do end up cancelling Pokey don't settle for 10%, they fooked a mate of mines order for some noikes and he's been given a 25% discount code.

Dealing with a joker for 6-odd months on a pair of grails. Delivery from Germany took forever. They attempted delivery Wednesday and left a notice. I signed and left it the next day for a Friday re-delivery. Friday came and went and no kicks.
Post office is the first order of business tomorrow. US Postal is the worst.

I think the advice on here would be not to send them back... some other poor bugger will get them. Don't know much about ASOS marketplace though, and how accountable they are. Wait and see what some of the old boys on here say.
Gutted for you mate.
