It's pretty obvious a copy as Optimus is exactly like the one in Michael Bay's movies so I'm guessing it's copied from one of the countless promo posters for the Transformers movie(s). I still think it's very good especially if done with a biro.

That drawing is fuckin tight! I don't understand the objections to it being "copied" pretty much all art is copied from another source somewhere. The skill is interpreting what your eyes can see into lines that your hand can draw, doesn't matter whether you're "copying" directly from someone's face or a landscape or from another image. The only way you can knock that is if he actually copied it from another drawing that was also done in biros. Which he didnt, he still had to figure out how to draw it!

For sure.
It's a tasty bit of drawing, no doubt.
I think Niko was just thinking it would've been good if the subject had been an original character created by the Biro dude himself.
Like the stuff my mate
Kwinz does..........

Kwinz has got some great stuff there.
Jesse does a lot of his own stuff like
this, but those copy things sell well.

I don't understand what the big deal is? Should I have to like it just cos it's done with biro's? It's just not a very exciting piece IMO. Some of his other stuff is amazing and I love it. Just cos I don't agree with this piece doesn't detract from his other work. Clearly the guy is talented, but guys, it's art, it's subjective
