So my birthday is comming up at the end of the month and I was wondering if you UK or American folk can help me get my hands on a cheap pair of the Adidas Sennheiser HD25 headphones.
I can get them from futureshop here but for 300$... I know i can get ebay BiN for 200$ but i hate buying electronics from ebay....
Anyone got any hook ups or anything!?

Save ya money Inphitity...Unless you can get them cheaper.
They are good but unless you've got small ears the cans on them are abit of a tight fit so not that comfy to actually wear...Sound quality is good though but i have a pair of sony's that blow them outta the water and cost half as much.
The in-ear ones and the other small pair are good enough and worth the money
Sorry not got a hook up

Yeah if you want them just for the looks of it then go ahead, but you can definitely find better ones for much better value. I would recommend Grado's for example.

No there good mate but...there are better headphones out there for less money
(obviously not adidas ones though)
Mine spend the majority of the time round my neck tbh and i use the in-ear ones more

These are reasonably priced and wicked sound, I have DJ'd with these and some people I know have used on stage with great results. tHEY PRETTY MUCH BLOCK OUTSIDE Noise SORRY DIDN'T REALISE i WAS SHOUTING.

continue this headphones discussion:
Im keen to buy a pair of headphones for when I'm at the computer, or just lying back listening to music. Something with fantastic sound quality, but can also drown out the shouts of my mother at the same time.
I don't want in ear headphones... more DJ type ones with regular audio jack.... The adidas senheissers look good but as said the ear pads look mighty small to cover the ear.
Anyone got any recommendations? I know beats by dre are fucking everywhere, but i don't want them just for that very reason (and i think they are WAAAYYY overpriced)
Discuss.
Have i mentioned i know next to nothing about headphones?
If you don't know, now you know...

I'll trade with you for a pair of
these if you like.
Near mint condition used a few times, cover too much of my ear! The sound is the dogs.
LMK.

I tried one of those Beats x Dre headphones some time ago and they were so bad. Looks good but the sound isn't anywhere near what they should for that money.
Think I have already said I like Grado's. You should try them if you already haven't. I prefer iGrados but they are not very handy when lying down. Also the wires on iGrados seem to go tits up in about a year. SR60 or SR80 might be worth testing.

Grado's sound really good! especially price wise... was expecting a few hundred but 99 for the 80s sounds great.
I haven't been able to read much about blocking outside noise though... :s
and apparently because they are open ear they can be quite noisy for other people? :s meh... lol not that i mind...
RE: The Techno Geek thread... -

Yeah they are open so they don't block much outside noise and yes if you are lying in your bed with a beautiful woman who tries to sleep and you are blasting Run DMC from your Grados she will most likely wake up. But then again you might want to consider doing something else than sleeping while she's awake
