Wud disagree with ya on the "kicks the Desire etc outta the water" as the desire is prolly the best handset out there at the mo...
Wait until august or september then the scorpion will b out (think scorpion is the codename) its a handset that will proll be as powerfull as most netbooks... apparently is coming with 2 1.5 gig snapdragon processors ..hmmm tasty. The X10 ui is not as hot as it cud b and if you go to xda developers webby u will find ppl love the handset but cant wait for a new Rom for it.

Agreed but for a first hit SE have done great
It does beat the desire because htc is just creating the same phone again and again just in a different casing
believe me after the hero HD2 and desire there isnt any difference except in operating system
I think 2 1.5 snapdragon processors would make the phone very chunky at the moment
maybe when the right tech comes out then it will be in a phone which is managable in size

Always gonna be a handset wit more 'heat' around the corner......too be honest i've used alot of handsets but if i cant sync it my make to keep basic things like phone contacts up to date all that 'heat' and processing power mean zilch.

Nope. But I can say that if someone is looking for Samsung Galaxy S (i9000), STOP it now! It's no good. At least not until it gets upgrade later this year and still I don't have high hopes. Fortunately I'm getting iPhone 4 tomorrow or on Friday!!!

Well it feels good and looks too IMHO, but despite of lightning fast processor it freezes every now and then. I just had to reboot it because native gmail client couldn't send or receive mails

Other thing is battery life. Maybe if you use it only for talking and messaging then it might be ok, but if you use it to listen music or like to use some apps then the battery dies in split second. But as said that coming firmware update might help in some or all areas. Before they launch it, don't buy it.

cheers.. doesnt sound like too big an issue to me, but good to get actual reviews.. batery life is always gonna be an issue for a phone that does soo much, less of an issue with the samsung as you can buy an extra battery... the iphone looks really col, but it has 2 major problems IMO, 1, its shit as a phone, everone i know thats got one has terrible reception. 2, dont want to become an iBore

Oh I forgot one thing: everyone I talk with my Galaxy says that my voice sounds like a cyborg. Now that might be a good thing if you like that kind of things and I couldn't care less as I don't have to listen my own voice but your gf/wife might not like it.
Also even if I don't have anything else running on the background some things might take so long that you begin to wonder if you really touched that button or not and then suddenly it opens it. That's something I really don't like.

Sorry FC. Is it the one with sliding keyboard? My colleague just told me that it's quite a lot like Nokia N97 mini but cheaper. He didn't like the Mini and said that this is prob not better. But as said I haven't tested it so I can't really tell.
