Cooly cooly, I'll get 'em all sorted as soon as possible.
P.s. Bought a Canon 350D today for £210 with an 18-55mm lense.
Need to get something for close up Jewellery shots.
What would you recommend and did I grab a bargain, do you reckon ?

if its the 18-55mm kit lens, apparently it isnt that good.
but for everyday photos it's prob fine.
for jewellery shots I use a 60mm macro lens, heres a canon equivalent:
http://www.canon.com.au/en-AU/Pro-Photography/Camera-Lenses/Pro-Lenses/EF-S%2060mm%20f2-8%20Macro%20USM
the main thing you'll need though is a tripod!

Ouch to the price of that !
Hate to ask but is there not shortcut like an adaptee type thing ?
Might be able to get one for around a hundred I suppose if it really is what I need.
What's the dealio with the lens ranges like 70-300mm and all that.
What exactly the fuck does that shit mean ?

http://www.paragon-press.com/lens/lenchart.htm this will explain it better than I could off the top of my head hahaha
it's bee a long time since I studied photography lol
as far as the lens, you should be able to pick up macro lenses second hand on ebay etc
there are cheaper brands you can go for like tamron, sigma etc
you could try adapter rings on the current lens... but in the long run wont be worth it

mr.pure ... i only read the first and last pages of this thread so don't be annoyed if i ask a question that's already been asked. were about do u live, or are u based for making shoe jewels and can u make absolutley anything and do you have any like default designs that you sell... also do u have detailed prices e.g. £10 for 1 pattern on jewel £20 for 2 patterns, etc... ... oh and does anybody know of a good site or anywhere with a wideeeeeee selection of adidas laces for superstars? thanks

Cheers Steve.
I'm based in London Danny and I can make one off tags and anything else for a price but depending on your design you'd be looking at more like £100 a pair than £10 !

Grimmy, can you hear it? I think there is this humming sound again.
RE: Shoe Jewellery. -
Grimmy - 05-01-10
Humming huh? I only hear constant
banging noise but that's probably the couple next door or the voices in my head have gone mad.
RE: Shoe Jewellery. -
mr.pure - 05-01-10
Steep ?
For a bespoke, one off pair of lace tags in Silver that costs £30 to hallmark and will take me a minimum of 6 hours to make ?!?
Tell you what.......the price just doubled !
And no, there isn't a limit on how much you post but if you become annoying and ask questions that are already on the forum cos you can't be bothered to read it, you'll be banned !

Nothing wrong with lots of posts if they are worthwile contributions, but when they are innane boring questions already answered a million times then it gets a bit much. If you can't be bothered to read the info to answer your own questions, why should we bother reading a barrage of pointless questions?
