I only got it after reading your post Mr P. Oh and if you are referring to the pair on Ebay FC, they are all wrong, all wrong. Certainly not 3 way, Cordura, Rare and if I'm not mistaken real either.

That's what happens to old arsed shoes if they get left in the box too damn long.
It probably happens if they get worn every now and then as well to be honest but Vintage Trainer Science is still in it's early years so we're having a hard time knowing the best ways to treat and store your trainers at the moment.
