Nothing to do with the nawtee Zulu's last night, this was decided many moons ago, did you see the grin on Abromovich's face when the result was announced?
Same with Qatar, money and large amounts of it, really really does talk.

You have no idea how pissed off all us Aussies are over the decision to give it to Qatar. Unbelievable

Had a bit of a panic last night too GeeBee, fucking boiler wouldn't work, but after a bit of swearing and turning it off and on a couple times it sorted itself out. Thank fuck as it got to -15 during the night here. Baltic.
I'm amazed they gave the World Cup to Qatar Niko, I was convinced Australia would get it. Nothing encourages quality fitba like searing 50 degree heat eh?

Not nearly as pissed off as you'll be when we rob you all of the pint of VB you've been promised...

Thanks for the offer JP
but all is sorted, glad yours is ok, we've had N-Power round about a million times over the past few weeks but it appears they select their contractors according to the criteria of being bullshitting, tardy, rude and unable to fix a boiler.
Numptys.
I'm loving being able to sit in the front room without having to wear an arctic parka.
May all your boilers continue to bless you with heat and bountiful hot water, especially yours Big J, minus 15 ain't funny.

Sorry to moan about the weather and its my own problem and no one else's for the shitty state of a car I have. BUT community nursing in a ten year old fiesta in snow is a fucking ball ache this week. Plus I ended up doing more visits cos loads a staff flaked at the site of the snow. BUT those fuckers have got it coming to them calling in a snow day. As soon as we get a heat wave fuck em am phoning in with the excuse its to hot to work HA HA HA.

I'll add yo the boiler woes. Mine is leaking and running through the wall where it's collecting on joist. Gonna need skimming and re painting.
I have n power emergency cover. I call them at 14:00 yesterday, they can vomecaround on Tuesday. Not good enough I say, I'm paying forcemergency cover and have got water coming out of the wall therefore can't put heating on. That's an emergency in my eyes. Lady said she will get emergency team to phone within 3 hours, over 17 later nothing. When I can drag myself from this freezing bed I'm gonna be shouting loudly down the phone to them!

Hope you get it sorted mate. I found N-Power to be less for a than useless I'm afraid.

Thanks. I'm not renewing policy next year. Just got off phone, they were trying to call apparently. Bullshit as I've no missed calls. Basically they couldnt care and I've got a Tuesday appointment, I questioned this said I want someone now and what do they consider an emergency? I am being treated as emergency which is why i have a Tuesday visit not Thursday. FFS I am fuming!

Just seen my post didn't make much sense . . . less than useless is what I meant
After weeks of arseing about from them we ended up getting a new boiler (for about a third of what they quoted) , made a complaint and cancelled the direct debit.
Hope you have better luck.

Shitty week this one. I'm in the same boat. Boilers f**ked again, been on ice cold for nuff days now. No such emergency cover in this house so i'll be calling around for some quotes this week. Add to that a washing machine thats' just given up the ghost but i've got cover on that. Biggest headache of the week though forgot to renew car tax and got clamped, fookers took me for a oner.
